Jessica Lee BCA Student Veterinary Nurse

I have previously gained qualifications of Animal Care at school with an A*grade, which further lead me to BCA college (Berkshire College of Agriculture) in Maidenhead, where I studied Animal Management Level 3 Extended Diploma. I am now a student and working to become a veterinary nurse, which is what I have always wanted to do.

I have always had a passion for animals, all shapes and sizes since before I can even remember. I have had many animals over the years but I now live with my 13 year old Springer Spaniel, Rolo, who as you can imagine is ‘Bonkers’ and my 2 rescue puppies Dudley and Fudge.

Outside of work I like to do voluntary work such as fostering kittens and puppies. I hand reared 4 puppies from 2 weeks old as a fosterer of the RSPCA, resulting in me adopting two, which are now Dudley and Fudge. Other than my interest in animals, I have worked in customer service for over 4 years and love helping clients get the best experience and care in my job.

As some of you may know, I started here at Shinfield Vets on reception to gain experience within the veterinary industry before progressing to where I am today. Working at Shinfield vets doesn’t feel like a job to me, as I enjoy meeting new clients and pets everyday and enjoy the team I work with.
