End of life care

When the time comes...

Saying goodbye to a much-loved pet is one of the hardest things we may ever have to do. It's never an easy decision, and it can feel even harder when it happens unexpectedly.

At Shinfield Vets, we understand how emotional this time can be. That's why we now offer Pre-Euthanasia appointments - a general 30-minutes session with one of our friendly nurses. It's a chance to talk through your thoughts, ask any questions, and share your wishes for when the time comes.

We want you to feel supported, prepared and not alone.

These appointments take place in a quiet room just outside the main building. This space is also available when it's time to say goodbye, giving you comfort and privacy for as long as you need.
