BCA
Animal Nursing Assistant
I have previously gained qualifications of Animal Care at school with an A*grade, which further lead me to BCA college (Berkshire college of agriculture) in Maidenhead where I studied Animal Management Level 3 Extended Diploma. I am now looking to become a veterinary nurse in the near future. I have always had a passion for animals, all shapes and sizes since before I can even remember. I have had many animals over the years but I now live with my 13 year old springer spaniel, Rolo, who as you can imagine is ‘Bonkers’ and my 2 rescue puppies Dudley and Fudge. Outside of work I like to do voluntary work such as fostering kittens + Puppies. I hand reared 4 puppies from 2 weeks old as a fosterer of the RSPCA resulting in me adopting two, which are now Dudley (in the photo above) and Fudge. Other than my interest in animals I have worked in customer service for over 4 years and love helping clients get the best experience and care in my job. As some of you may know I started here at Shinfield Vets on reception to gain experience within the veterinary industry before progressing to where I am today. Working at Shinfield vets doesn’t feel like a job to me as I enjoy meeting new clients and pets everyday and enjoy the team I work with.
