Sally Ward

I graduated from the University of Bristol in 1998 and I've been working as a small animal vet in Berkshire since 2000. I enjoy being a GP vet, seeing a wide variety of medical and surgical cases in cats, dogs, rabbits and rodents. In 2013 I completed a General Practitioner certificate in ophthalmology and often see more complicated eye cases for vets in the Reading area. I'm just about to complete a certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice having completed modules in small animal medicine and diagnostic imaging (x-rays and ultrasound examination).

Outside of work I enjoy walking with my dog, Sid, and friends - especially if there's a picnic or pub lunch involved! We've walked national trails such as the Ridgeway, Thames Path, Chiltern Way and South Downs Way. In 2018 I walked 530 miles along the Camino de Santiago in Spain. I also enjoy going to concerts and the theatre.
